About the authors

Anil K. Mehta

Dr. Anil K. Mehta, is a well known International figure in Ayurveda. He runs an Ayurveda college in Netherlands and Belgium since 1980. Till date he has trained more than thousand European doctors and therapists in Ayurveda. He has written more than a dozen books on the subject in Dutch and English. Among them the most popular are 'Aurveda in de Praktiji' in Dutch and Health and Harmony through Ayurveda in English. He has been awarded 'Vishwa Ayurved Shiromani' title, literally means 'world's topmost Ayurveda Physician' by a renowned D.A.V. educational society. He is a founder director of EISRA (European Institute for Scientific Research on Ayurveda) which is affiliated to Gujari at Ayurveda University, Jamnagar, India and D.A.V. Ayurvedic College, Jalandhar, Punjab, India.

Alaknanda Rao

Dr. Alaknanda Rao has been managing a private Community Ayurvedic Clinic in Pune, India for the Past 11 years. She offers consultations to people of all age groups across all sections of society for various ailments. Treatments include Panchkarma, Kerala Special treatments, Ayurvedic Diet Consultancy, Infertility, Antenatal and Post-natal Care. She visits Ayurvedic centers in Holland, Belgium, UK, and Spain offering consultations in Ayurveda, Ayurvedic Diet, conducting lectures and seminars on different topics related to Ayurveda.
