Synopsis Women in tribal society play significant role and are equal economic partners. Wavli is a traditional system of empowering women under which tribal women have been involving in vegetable cultivation, selling of calf, goats, hens and cock, etc., from generations together. The income derived by women through Wavli are their own and men have no claim over it. Under expanded Wavli system tribal women are engaging in vegetable cultivation improving their economic and thereby social, political and physical conditions.
