Having spent the impressionable years of my life in London, I am more at home in English than any other language. Reared in an enlightened, liberal and a literary environment, writing in English comes natural to me. As a school girl in England, I would simply devour Enid Blyton’s School Girls own Library books. In them, there was always a hint of romance, to thrill a young heart. This is when I first developed an interest in writing. My first book Kalyug’s Children is a motivational non-fiction. Urvashi is my second book and a fiction, in depth, penned on a much inspired psyche Uravashi, while it is romantic, has a lot to do with today’s harsh realities. UR+VASHI in Sanskrit means a conqueror of heart. I hope my Uravashi conquers my precious readers’ hearts too!
