Phanikanta Mishra

Dr. Phani Kant Mishra the Chief Editor of this volume is an epitome of versatility. Moving on from Ph.D. in Hoysala Art and Architecture his intense research produced two books – The Kadambas, and The Hoysalas – in quick succession. Besides being the Chief Editor of two commemorative volume he has many papers, including several on conservation to his credit. In the past, he has visited the Federal Republic of Germany under Indo-German Exchange Programme, by carl duisbrg gesellsehafi and delivered lectures on Archaeology of India as well as the scientific conservation taken up in Indian monuments, to various institutions of the German Republic.
