Synopsis The Social Security Association of India was formed in 1991 with the primary object of promoting social security in India. One of the functions of the Association is to maintain a database and to disseminate information concerning social security. In pursuance of this objective the Association has undertaken a number of research projects of which Documentation of Research and Studies on Social Protection is one. This book contains a bibliography of books, reports, articles and laws on social protection classified according to a system which is described in the first chapter. The book is in two parts: the first part consists of the material collected under the Research Project and the second part consists of the material collected subsequently. This is a very useful reference book for those interested in the social security in India.
