Ramakant Purvi

Ramakant Purvi (b. 1949) has specialised in law and jurisprudence and has also been actively associated with working groups on reform in the rehabilitation of juvenile offenders. He has a Master's Degree in Law from the Pune Law School and another postgraduate qualification in Jurisprudence from the University of Winnipeg, Canada. He has written a number of papers on prison reform and rehabilitation efforts. He has also been associated with a leading voluntary organisation working in the area of rehabilitation of juvenile offenders.
