Synopsis Its is increasingly acknowledged that tribal people have their own effective systematic knowledge and resource use practices and that to assist them we need to understand their knowledge and management systems. The present book extends this understanding by a detailed enquiry into tribal technologies. The study has documented the indigenous knowledge, tools, techniques and practices of the tribal people, specifically related to Agriculture, animal Husbandry, Housing Household tools, Food gathering and processing, Fishing, Hunting, Rope making and Medicine.
