About the authors

Prashant K Mathur

Prashant K. Mathur is Assistant Director in the centre for Public Enterprises and Continuing Education. He is an alumnus of the Allahabad University and also holds a post-graduate diploma in public administration and community development from the university of Hyderabad. He has written lot many papers of national professional periodicals and published one book entitled Public Administration Policy and Planning and also lectured at various professional gathering, including seminars and symposia over the past thirty years.

N. Venkateshwara Rao

N. Venkateshwara Rao (b. 1942) obtained a master’s degree in Political Science from S.K. University, Andhra Pradesh and after a three-year teaching term with the alma mater went on a post-doctoral research assignment to the Australian National uiversity, Canberra, for a study of politics, political trends and institutional development. He has lectured at various academies and institutions and continues to contribute richly to the development administration segments of various states as a Consultant and on Panel as well as Board Member. He has one book in this credit entitled Public Administration and development Dynamies.
