About the authors

S N Tripathy

Dr. S.N. Tripathy (b. 1957) completed his graduation with Economics honours from KSUB College, Bhanjanagar (Orissa) and M.A. in Economics from Khallikote College, Berhampur. He was awarded Ph.D. degree in the year 1989 from the Berhampur University for his research on, “Problems of Bonded Labour in Orissa”. Dr. Tripathy has to his credit several works and edited volumes alongwith 60 published papers in different journals and books. He has completed several Research Projects by ICSSR and U.G.C., New Delhi. His area of research interests are Unorganised Labour, Rural Development and Tribal Problems etc. At present, Dr. Tripathy is in the Department of Economics, Aska Science College, Aska, Orissa.

Premananda Pradhan

Premananda Pradhan has been teaching to the +3 degree students since last one decade. A keen researcher he has co-authored a book viz. Girl Child in India and has been presenting papers in various national level seminars. Currently, he has been working as a Research Fellow in the UGC sponsored research project on Tribal Female Literacy in Orissa.
