Synopsis The present book is an attempt to examine the capital structure policy and to identify the pattern of financing over a period of time. Companies invariably face a lot of hardship like raising of capital, loans and dept to establish new enterprises, to fund expansion and diversification programme in case of existing enterprises. Capital Structure decision, i.e., raising of long-term funds is a strategic decision to be taken by the finance manager. The decision becomes more crucial in capital-intensive industries like electronics industry. Modern-day business is considerably influenced by global competition, continuous improvement, technological changes and varying customer expectations.
