Synopsis The conservative approach to the study of political science with the main focus of state, government, legal institutions and structures has undergone a tremendous change. Political science has become more akin to sociology, psychology, economics, geography, history, women studies, anthropology and other social sciences. The writings of Karl Marx, Max Weber have contributed to the development of the political sociology.
