Synopsis This book, “Teaching of Computer Science” is intended for any one who is interested in teaching computer. Computer is known for their attempts to carry on the analytical and scientific study of the data, action and information in relation to the data existence and functioning of the living zones. Actually the progress and development what we see today in our near by world are very much linked with the progress and development in the education world which is turn depends upon the quality of computer science education imparted to our youngsters. It is in this context that we need a quality teacher education in the subject computer science for preparing quality computer science teachers for sharing big responsibility in the schools of our country. Programmers and others computer professionals will also find the book helpful and informative. The entire concepts presented in the book are illustrated with suitable examples as and when required. This will enable the readers to use the book effectively for self-study. In addition to this each chapter contains a number of review questions and exercises, which are carefully, designed to provide an insight into the subject. How much the attempt has been successful in realizing its believes, you as a reader are the best judge for such evaluation. Almost every aspect of computer education and training program is covered in this book. It is caring thirteen chapters. The author has suggested and given some ideas for further computer training for the learner and beginners who is interested to learn computer in detail, the method is adopted from simple to complex. This book is useful for all the graduate students at every level from school to technical and non-technical training colleges/institutes. He has also suggested that only if there are a large number of idealistic trained teachers and education workers devoted to the cause then the country can solve the computer education problems of each school that are situated in villages and cities.
