Hence, this book has been prepared keeping in view the significant aspects of eh art and life of Patiala and its environs. To some extent, this has succeeded in proving Patiala as the cultural capital of Punjab. This is an established fact that past and present rulers of Patiala remained in the forefront of art, culture and politics of India. Readers are the best judge to see all this for themselves.
