Synopsis The book unravels the condition of work and working condition of the labourers of the tea industry in Assam. It focuses on the migration pattern, socio-economic and cultural profile, role of trade unions and implication of labour legislation on the tea garden labourers and the problems of the different target group in the tea estates of Barak Valley.
