Environmental Economics

S.N. Prasad (Author)
Synopsis
This book discusses the economics of environmental planning and management and approaches the subject from the angle of the economist. There is a widespread belief that environmental protection and conservation is a very expensive process and thus economically non-viable. This belief has been demolished and an attempt has been made to not only lay out a route map for environmental economics but also make it easy for students and teachers of the subject.

Thus, all those concerned with environmental conservation, environmental protection, policy makers and planners will find this book useful to enhance their knowledge and also achieve a clear perspective of the subject.
