Saira Rahman Khan

Saira Rahman Khan is a British Chevening scholar (1997-1998) and obtained her Ph.D. in socio-Legal Studies from University of Kent, Canterbury, England in 1998.  She did her LL.B. (Hons.) and Masters in Law (LL.M.) from Dhaka University and spent a brief time practicing law and teaching ‘Women in Politics’ at NorthSouth University.  She is an occasional contributor to the Law and our Rights page of the Daily Star.  She presently works as a free lance legal researcher in the realm of women, law and developmental issues.
