Dr. Shobha Bajpai, Head, Department of English, BSNV PG College, Lucknow, obtained her Post-Graduate Degree in English Literature securing first position in the order of merit and Ph.D. in American Literature from Lucknow University. She is a Guest Faculty for Business Communication and Professional Communication for MBA and B.Tech students at the Institute of Engineers and Technology, Lucknow and also for MEG Programme in Indira Gandhi National Open University. Dr. Bajpai is a creative writer, a poet and a freelance journalist as well. She has been honoured by Geetanjali Multi-lingual Literary Circle, Birmingham, U.K. in 2003 for promoting harmony and understanding between cultures through language. She has to her credit an acclaimed membership of ICCR, Government of India that facilitated her visit to many cities of the U.K. and the Netherlands to participate in many poets’ conferences and present academic papers. She has presented many research papers in different national and international seminars and got her papers published in different national and international seminars and got her papers published in different national/international books, journals and magazines.
