Synopsis A Journey to Lake Mansarovara is an attempt to acquaint the readers with the lake mansarovara, the place of much reverence and attraction due to its several unique qualities and scenic beauties. The present book is reproduction of the duly edited story of an adventurous journey undertaken by the author (narrator) himself to the lake mansarovara. To start with a band of three persons sets out on journey with good and pious motives to explore the unique and landscapic beauties of the lake with which it is gifted and to know about the inhabitants residing there intact of the society. They go on their journey enthusiastically but ungrudgingly arrive at different places, big and small cross many cliffs and mountains facing the hardships as well as narrating the incidents they frequently came across. Briefly the book throws light on the courageous mood of the odyssey-makers, the landscapic beauties of the high mountains covered with snow, rivers having swift cold and clear water. It is, in fact, rich with vast collection of knowledge related to socio-economic and political aspects of the inhabitants in the mountains. Since the study provides a panoramic and vivid description of the Lake Mansarovara and its surroundings, it would certainly enthrall the readers and captivate their attention.
