Kashi Nath Singh

Kashi Nath Singh, who retired as the Head, Department of Geography, Benaras Hindu University, Varanasi, in 1993, is presently a Professor in the University of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He did his M.A. and Ph.D. form Benaras Hindu University and his post-doctoral research at the Rutgers University, U.S.A. Prof. Singh has lectured at American, British, German and Japanese Universities. He is acclaimed for his research in the field of historical settlement geography.
