Even though the wood conflict has been employed what is actually seen in reality is ambivalence and role confusion arising out of the changed circumstances such as changing educational policy apart from the social position of the adolescents in the family and school. the difference in interest between the adolescents and adults in the areas like discipline, authority, choice of friends etc, have been examined.
