Encyclopaedia of Social Problems and Social Change (In 5 Volumes)

Ranjit Rajadhyaksha (Author)
Synopsis The present publication attempts to present a sociological study with vision. The meticulously collected and collated articles, essays, comments and excerpts constitute one of the most comprehensive insights into the contemporary problems of society and inevitable social change. While the vast range of subjects covered extend into all areas of social development and change, there are several other areas that would seem interdisciplinary, yet they have a conscious and well established bearing on the evolution and development of modern social study into its present forms and contents. Social dynamics, social change, social engineering, collective effort, pathbreaking theories, inspired vision and unrelenting effort, all come together in this pioneering work. It is thus an invaluable, even indispensable, addition to literature on the subject. Sociology and social studies have grown, so have the efforts to interpret social problems and social change. Here is the latest and most outstanding of such works.
