Vani Prabhakar

Vani Prabhakar has a masterâ€™s degree in Sociology from the University of Delhi and a doctorate in same from the Jawaharlal Nehru University. She taught for over eight years in colleges of Delhi, Punjab and Gujarat. She was actively associated with the American Peace Corp. working in rural areas of India, Srilanka, Myanmar and Bangladesh. Subsequently, she joined a reputed NGO, Action for International Development (AID) and has been working as a Programme Advisor (Rural Development) for over six years.
