Sweta Prajapati

Dr. Sweta Prajapati, the editgor of the present work is workwing as a Research Officer in the Oriental Institute, M.S. University, Baroda. Her Ph.D. thesis ‘Influence of Nyaya Philosophy on Sanskrit Poetics’ published in 1998, has brought approbation from the scholars. Various Gold Medals and prizes are awarded to her for her outstanding career. She has so far contributed 25 research papers written in English, Hindi and Gujarati to various academic journals. Though Alankarasastra is her specialized field, yet, the other fields like Nyayasastra, Manuscriptology and Modern Sanskrit Literature have captured her irrepressible interest. At present, she is engaged in the preparation of ‘ Alphabetical List of Manuscripts in the Oriental Institute, Vadodara, Vol. IV’, (jointly) ‘Annotated Bibliography of Manuscriptology and Textual Criticism’, the Critical Edition of the Nyayasutravrtti ‘Ratnamala’, a rara and unpublished Commentary on the Nyayasutras.
