About the authors

Joseph Selvin

Dr. Joseph Selvin is the head of department of Biotechnology in Malankara Catholic College. He has published more than 40 research papers/articles in peer-reviewed journals/special issues/conferences. In association with reputed scientists and professors of universities, he has formed an association called Biotech Consortia to disseminate information about the advances of modern biotechnology among the young biotechnologists through organized forums seminars/symposia/workshops.

A S Ninawe

Dr. A.S. Ninawe is a renowned expert in the field of marine biotechnology. He has more than 20 years of research/administrative experience in the field of Biotechnology. As a member of Indian delegation, he has visited to Thailand, China and Singapore to study the latest technological developments in shrimp culture. Dr. Ninawe availed several awards including ISEP Science Academy fellowship, Fellowship of Society of Biosciences (FSB), Kautilya Gold Medal etc. He has published more than 80 research papers in peer-reviewed journals of national and international repute.

V.S. Sugunan

Dr. V.S. Sugunan is presently working as scientist in Rrajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology in Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Trivandrum. He has expertised in the aspects of molecular level investigations on Hepatitis C. virus and development of novel antiviral drugs. National Institute off Health (USA) has recommended his research paper on ‘Predominance of anti-envelop antibodies in various disease states of Hepatitis C virus infection’ for the non-invasive diagnosis of HCV infection.
