Surinder Kochhar initiated his research almost two decades ago. He pursued the forgotten history of the Hindu-Sikh religious heritage and prime monuments in Pakistan. His research and efforts led the people and authorities to get clear and accurate information about the history and the significance of many historical shrines in Pakistan. Occasionally, he has briefed the Ministers and senior officials of the Governments of both India and Pakistan about the existing state of these exceptional places. Kochhar is currently working as a journalist for a leading and renowned Punjabi newspaper 'Ajit'. He has wide experience in covering, examining and presenting news and stories from Pakistan and Afghanistan.
