Chapter four Maintain Health and Safety at Work Place deals with health hazards at work place, practice general safety and first aid, maintain clean and efficient workplace, render appropriate emergency procedure, fire and emergency procedures.

About the author

D.R. Singh

Dev Raj Singh (b. 1950) obtained his Master's degree in Sociology from the Banaras Hindu University and subsequently his doctorate in Educational Psychology from the University of Delhi. He has taught graduate and post-graduate classes in the North Eastern Hill University, Shillong, and has been on three State level educational panels for curricular reform. He has written over a dozen papers in leading Indian journals and is also the author of a widely-acclaimed textbook on social studies for high school students. He is currently Educational Consultant and Chief Curriculum Adviser with the Technical Education Centre, New Delhi.
