Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu says in Sri Chatanyacharitamrut that, "To inculcate the virtues of a vaishnava in one's lifestyle is in reality an adornment which makes the devotee attractive in the eyes of the Lord as well as the world. That is why it of utmost importance for all devotees to follow the virtues and the lifestyle of a vaishnava very efficiently. The virtues of a vaishnava are very important and there is an abundances of information about the same in various books like Haribhaktivilasa, Chaitanyacharitamruta, Sri Bhaktirasamritasindhu, Chaitanya Bhagvat, Padma purana, Mahbharata, etc. That is why we thought we should make a compilation of all those teachings in the easiest way possible. This book not only highlights the basic fundamentals of the virtues of a vaishnava but it also sheds light on the various issues and topics arising in our society. To summarise it, it is our humble effort in the direction of the fulfilment of the prescribed four principles as well as to educate the devotees of the virtues of a vaishnava. Various devotees have invested their precious time & energy as well as given their invaluable advice, suggestions in the compilation & printing of this book. We are indebted to them for the important role they have played in the publication of this book. In this tumultuous era, our only hope is that this book is of help to the devotees to put forward the movement of Sri Chaitnaya Mahaprabhu and his divine grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhuada.
