About the author

C. Jinarajadasa

C. Jinarajadasa President of the Theosophical Society from 1945 to 1953, received his Master's degree in Sanskrit and philology from Cambridge University. A Sri Lankan by birth he was however, exceptionally fluent in many Indian and European languages; and his wide range of interests and writings included religion, philosophy, literature, art, science and Occult Chemistry.
