What Am I

Shriram Sharma Acharya (Author)
Synopsis

There are several things worth knowing in this world. There are various fields of knowledge and many paths needing exploration. There are several branches of science which come within the normal purview of man's curiosity. Why, How, Where, When, are the questions in every field. This inquisitive tendency of knowing is mainly responsible for such rich store of knowledge. In reality, knowledge is the light house of life. The question about 'knowledge of self is most impprtant amongst various objects of enquiry. We know several superficial things or make efforts to know them but we forget 'What we are in ourselves'. Without knowing the 'Self the life becomes agitated, uncertain and prickly. In the absence of this knowledge regarding his real self, a person spends his time in deliberating about insignificant things and indulges in unbelievable acts. The only path to true happiness and comfort is 'Knowledge of Self. This book contains instructions about the knowledge of Self. What am I?'. The answer to this question has not been given in words, but an effort has been made to impart it through austerity and practice. It is hoped that this book will prove useful to the aspirants of spiritualism.
