Synopsis Today, the library professionals are facing major challenges due to fast growing information and communication technologies. Due to information explosion. The shape of library profession is also becoming more and more complex everyday. In order to have the library professionals to assume a central position in information age, they must adopt newer technology with an attitude of ‘service before self’. Tejomurty-a stalwart of library profession in India.
