Rupanjali Baruah is a published author, abstract artist, art critic, translator, editor & publisher at WordSmith Publishers based at Guwahati, Assam. A post graduate in English literature from Gauhati University, Assam, she has to her credit several books & journals on poetry, fictions, art both in original English and Assamese translations. Her first collection of English poems, All Things Passing and first collection of English short fictions Amrita & Other Stories, both published in 2005 by P. Lal, Writers Workshop, Kolkata; her English novella, A Wayside Story published in 2009 by WordSmith Publishers, Assam; her English translation of prize winning Assamese short fictions Night at Baghe Island published in 2015 by Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi.
