The study looks critically at Devi’s fictional oeuvre in order to help readers in understanding her complex fictional world.

About the author

Jyoti Baburao Sarkale

Dr. Jyoti Sarkale works as an assistant lecturer in English at Yeshwant Mahavidyalaya, Nanded. She has received Gold Medal at PG. She has obtained M.Phil and Ph.D in Comparative Literature. Many of her research papers have been published in different books and journals. She has to her credit 16 articles in national and international conferences. She is also a guest lecturer and visits various reputed colleges, People’s College, Nanded, Mahatma Phule Mahavidyalaya, Ahmedpur and, Rajiv Gandhi College, Mudkhed. She has been teaching English language and literature for a decade. Her area of interest is Indian Writing in English, British Literature, Literary Criticism and Women’s Studies. Dr. Jyoti Sarkale is Gold Medalist in PG in 2005. She has completed her M.Phil and Ph.D in Comparative Literature from SRTMU.
