During the half-century since the adoption of the United Nations Charter in 1945 and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948, a comprehensive international human rights law embracing many international instruments has been created. An analysis and presentation of the conceptual framework and adopted human rights standards is the main objective of this volume.
