Indian National Army and Subhas Chandra Bose Through Japanese Sources
The present documentary study on INA and Bose is in continuation of author's earlier studies relating to the efforts of Indian nationalists abroad for the attainment of India's freedom. While the earlier studies were mainly based on the British sources, the present volume consists of Japanese documents, reports and memoirs.
These were collected from repositories in Japan and India The memoirs included here shed considerable light on the circumstances leading to the formation of the INA,the clash between Rash Behari Bose and Mohan Singh on the one hand and the Japanese on the other.These also deal with the coming of Bose from Berlin,and how he reorganised the INA and motivated them to 'March on Delhi along with the Japanese forces.These sources give the Japanese perspective of INA and Bose and are a mine of information for the students.
