Aabha Vatsa is a Poet, Author, President of‘Asian Literary Society’, an ex-blogger and an ex-teacher. She began her literary career with the birth of her blog DAFFODILSin 2010. In 2012 she published her first book, a travelogue titled Barfani Baba, To Amarnath Happily.
In 2015, she established herself as a poet by publishing six poetry books titledHarmony,Home Alone, Miracle, Desire, Dance and Euphoria.
In 2017, she published two poetry books titled Dance and Compassion and her first work of fiction, Monsoon Musings, a collection of short stories.
She has contributedseveral poems towardsnational and international anthologies including those on Kamla Das, Dr Abdul Kalam, She the Shakti, Symphony of Peace and many others. Her poems have been published in several national and international ezines and magazines. She has been awarded for her writings.
A die hard optimist, she believes in the powerof the written word. A quintessential student of life, she grewup in a cosmopolitan environment in Allahabad and later travelled to Zambia to complete her schooling, which gave a deeper significance to her cosmopolitan views.
Lady in Red, is her ninth poetry book which is a collection of fifty poems ranging from the title poem to Heartache, The Renaissance President to Dreams, a kaleidoscope of vibrant and lyrical poetry.
