Started working on this book under the influence of my late father, Sri Jadi Chokkaiah, who was an ardent believer of Veerashaiva Philosophy. I strongly think that my father's principles of casteless and classless society, gender equality, and rational thinking made a path into my mind since my childhood, and thus, it immensely motivated me to write this small book on Basava Philosophy to give a kind of enlightenment to people who are suffering from various social barriers.
