The Sex Life of Tigers: Ranthambhore Tales

Valmik Thapar (Author)
Synopsis

This book is about the sexual world of the tiger and that very special encounter that results in a book like this. This is not a pretty picture book about them; it is a book about the most invisible aspect of a tiger’s life. Very few have encountered this intimate world of the tiger and Valmik Thapar has tried to do his best to record every detail of it. The only place in the world that you can record the sex life of tigers is the Ranthambore National Park, which has become the most frequented destination to see wild tigers. It has been the author’s privilege to witness some extraordinary interactions between mating couples; and in this book he has curated his research along with stunning photographs, bringing out a fine volume on the topic.
