Renu Sinha graduated from Patna Women's College, with honours in History. She completed her Post Graducation from Patna University in Ancient History and Archaeology. She was awarded the Degree of Ph.D by the Patna University in 1987.At present she is working as the Head of the Department of Ancient Indian & Asian studies. in Ganga Devi Mahila College, Patna. She has the credit of supervising a few successfull Ph.D. Research Scholars.
