As I See It

V.S. Ravi (Author)
Synopsis For eighteen years Mr. Ravi, a police officer by profession, has been writing articles on ‘science subjects’ and has also published four books on science. In this monumental ground-breaking work As I See It containing seventy-two thought-provoking delightful essays which have been embellished with quotations from Shakespeare to Stoppard, and Arnold to Attenborough, the author has once again revealed not only his enormous mastery over all branches of modern science, for which he is well known, but also his stupendous knowledge of Shakespeare’s plays, his incisive insight into serious like the human condition, in the context of man’s scientific achievements and moral values, controversial topics like the style of life of Indians settled in America, sensitive questions like ‘national integration’ and ‘terrorism’ and even general matters of interest to one and all, like movies and sports. In writing these brilliant articles in his own inimitable, racy and lyrical style, he has generously drawn facts from his own vast store-house of information acquired by him, as a brilliant scholar, a distinguished civil servant and a widely traveled man.
