About the authors

Tejpal Singh

Tejpal Singh is a senior lecturer in the Department of English at S.G.T.B. Khalsa (Eve.) college, University of Delhi, New Delhi. He was born in a worker's quarter of a sugar factory in Basti (U.P.) India in 1933. He himself experienced intnsely the ironies of life, whose web" is of a mingled yarn, goo and ill-together". He graduated from Punjab University Chandigarh in 1953 and postgraduated in Punjabi Literature from Punjab University, Chandigarh in 1957. Subsequently, he postgraduated in English literature from Punjabi University, Patiala in 1968. He got his Ph.D. in English Litereture on american Drama from Meerut University, Meerut (U.P.) India in 1981. He has read articles on American Drama in Prestigious seminars including, All India English Teachers Conference, New Delhi and got them published. the present project was made possible by the Study Leave granted under the Teachers Benefit Scheme by the University Grants Commission (U.G.C.) New Delhi.

Sanjib Kumar Singh

Sanjib Kumar Singh , a trained Archaeologist and museologist also belongs to the first batch of the Institute of Archaeology, Archaeological Survey of India, New Delhi. At present he is working in the National Museum, New Delhi, a premiere institution of the Department of Culture, Govt. of India. Besides books on Prehistory, Indus Valley Civilization, he has published a number of research papers in the national and international journals, bulletins, periodicals etc. Being the Secretary of the Association of the Central Government Cultural Professioinals, the academic welfare and upliftment of fellow professionals interest him the most. Presently he is engaged seriously in the new aspects of the history of Chandelas. He has been deputed by the Government of India to Singapore and Japan to organize International exhibitions and to deliver the public lectures.
