About the authors

Sudipta Ghosh

Sudipta Ghosh (PhD) is an Assistant Professor in Department of Anthropology, North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong. She received her MSc and PhD degree in Biological Anthropology form University of Delhi. She is a recipient of UGC Raman Fellowship for Post Doctoral Research for Indian Scholars of America. Her Post Doctoral research was on Genetic Adaptation to High Altitude Hypoxia, from Syracuse University, New York, USA. She also received Post Doctoral Fellowship from Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). She has authored 1 book and several research papers in both National and International Peer Reviewed Journals. She is a member of the Editorial Board of Wyno Academic Journal of Biological Sciences.

Dhruba Kr. Limbu

Dhruba Kr. Limbu (PhD) has been teaching in the Department of Anthropology, NEHU since 2001. His area of interest is Population Genetics, Demography and Dental Anthropology. So far, ten PhDs and one M.Phil have been awarded under his guidance. He has published many papers in National and International Peer Reviewed Journals.
