The present work under the title "Persian Studies under the Sultans of Bengal", a maiden work on thid topic, covers a wide range of dicussion on various episodes relating to the efforescence of Persian language and liteature in medieval Bengal. It encapsulates multifacetes activities of the Sultans and governmors, nobles and princes,officers and lamdlords, poets and writers, Sufis and savabts who either visited or settled in this part of the globe and made significant contribution to the promotion of Persian.
