Vinod Kothari

Vinod Kothari is internationally recognised as trainer, consultant and expert on securitisation, credit derivatives, and asset-based funding. A chartered accountant and company secretary with brilliant academic record, Vinod Kothari wrote a book on Lease Financing and Hire Purchase at a young age of 23, which is today regarded as the most authentic text on the subject. In addition, Vinod Kothari has written Securitisation: The Financial Instrument of the New Millennium Y2K edition, which sells all over the World. Another recent book Credit Derivatives and Synthetic Securitisation is one of the very few comprehensive treatises on the subject. Through distance training as well as workshops in some 15 countries all over the world, Vinod Kothari annually trains 500 executives at the levels on complex financial topics such as securitisation, synthetic CDOs and credit derivatives.
