About the author

Ashok Sethi

The author started his solidering career as a Sapper Para Commando Officer in Indian Army in 1964, fought Indo-Pak wars of 1965 and 1971 in the battle front and is serving in Border Security Force since last twenty-nine yeaers. Recipient of Police Medal from Meritorious Service and President's Police Medal for Distinguished Service, the author her held various prestigious command and staff appointements in BSF besides long stint in Intelligence Bureau. Is presently serving as Deputy Inspector General BSF in sensitive state of Jammu and Kashmir. His previous books titled Poetic Salute of a Soldier and Poetic Spectrums of Solidiering have won the author a lot of acclaim and appreciation from India and abroad.
