Dr. Rakesh Singh, M.Sc., D.F.Sc., Ph.D. (Israel), F.Z.S.I., F.I.A.E.S., F.S.L.Sc., F.I.A.S.N., F.N.A.Sc, F.I.F.S.I. is Former Consultant, World Bank of Bangladesh and Nigeria, and has expertise in Shrimp Farming and Hatchery Management, Fish Nutrition and Diseases, and Ornamental Fish Culture. He has published more than 195 research papers and authored 37 book chapters and attended nearly 215 symposia , conferences and seminars at national and international level. For his distinguished scientific contributions, he has been awarded Gold Medal by Zoological Society of India, Indian Academy of Environmental Science, Haridwar and Indian Academy of Science and nature (FOREIGN SECRETARY, ZOOLOGICAL SOCIETY OF INDIA).
