His preference was to start work on legal and judicial reforms. P.V. Narsimha Rao chose Dr. Man Mohan Singh as his Finance Minister. Dr. Man Mohan Singh brought changes slowly but surely. His priority to restore the efficacy of Institutions of democracy gave strength to economy. I was part of his Cabinet in UPA-I.
