Devashish Roy born in 1954 at West Bengal, obtained his M.A. Ph.D. from Kolkata. At present he is associate professor in the Department of English in Private College Kolkata. He has teaching experience more than 30 years to Honours, Post Graduate and M.Phil. Classes. He is author of many reputed text books. Roy has so far participated in many national and international seminars and conferences. He has many articles to his credit published in various journals national and international repute. He has the life member of different academic organizations.
