Synopsis Hoihnu Hauzel’s maiden book of poems is an embroidery of moods and images. She dewlls on the lingering memories of yesterday that are so fresh and vivid in her mind. She talks of the different phases and periods of her journey over many terrains of life. It is a collection of verbal petals with fragrance of freshness to mark the trail of the journey. She discovers the uncertainness or transitory phase of life when she says “Nothing is forever”…. And death is so definite so inevitable. She talks of love and the beauty of life/// yet she realizes in the end that everything comes to an end. Just like a child’s play….. she also expresses man’s yearning to flee from the world of pain and suffering in those far off lands called the ‘City of Joy’ away from the vale of tears somewhere beyond the blue sky!
