About the author

Santanu Dev

Santanu Dev is assistant professor of physical geography at Rajiv Gandhi University, Itanagar. He has worked on the geomorphology and Quaternary history of the North-eastern region for over two decades. He is especially interested in fluvial, glacial and karst sediment systems. A good deal of this research takes place in collaboration with archaeologists and he is also interested in human-environment interactions across a range of timescales. Dev has published 10 research papers in National and International Journals.
