DR PAUL JOSEPH THOTTAM graduated from Madras University in 1959 and was registered with the Central Board of Indian Medicine, New Delhi, in 1974 after passing the examination for traditional practitioners of Siddha medicine.He has been a member of the Expert Study Group of the Central Council for Research in Ayurveda and Siddha, New Delhi, since 1987. He set up the Thottam Siddha Research Centre in Thirumzhisai, Tamil Nadu. Dr Thottam lives in Chennai.
